Criterion A

People and machine is a related social and ethical issue. People are getting services of the robot which acts like it loves you and they're benefiting from it. A stakeholder of this would be the company that manufactures this robots. They will earn a lot of financial profits as the rate of unmarried people are increasing.

Criterion B
People take advantage of robots to satisfy their lives. The quality of life can be enhanced thanks to the robots (IT System).

Criterion C
1) Customer
Pro: The quality of life can be increased. Even people who avoided marriage because of the pressure of having kids, or because of the financial pressure, will be able to marry a robot since
Also, robot will never get old, or divorce you. This will be beneficial.
Con: Religion , ethical issues. High price. Actually, unmarried people might not even bother finding a real human to get married with, but just buy a robot. This makes the person to find a unmarried person even harder.
2) Company
Pro: Financial profit due to the increasing unmarried rate.
Con: bad corporate image due to the religious people who believe this is unethical.
3) Government
How will the government manage married status? Can you get divorced with your robot or can you be officially married to a robot? The government has to make a lot of policies and standards about this.

Criterion D
Banning of robot marriage can solve the unethical problem that are related to this robot marriage. And also it can prevent the religious conflicts between people. However, it will be unfair for people who can't get married since it's taking their rights to do what thy want away.

1. 4 Marks
a. Describe one social/ethical concern related to the IT system in the article.
b. Describe the relationship of one primary stakeholder to the IT system in the article.

One social/ ethical concern that pops up in my mind is people and machines. Because, We can see that the professor who created the idea, seems to connect human being with machines Such as relating us with loving or even having sex with a robot. Because he thinks that it will be realized in the near future. People will interact with robots who can act as we wanted them to act like. Such as keep on loving people who felt lonely. The relationship between a primary stakeholder and the robot is that they ( the stakeholder ) would be able to interact and do whatever they desire with the robots. Which is the main purpose of future companies who are creating this robots wanted. They want people to interact with robots they created. Like the movie I-Robot.

a. Describe, step-by-step, how the IT system works.
b. Explain the relationship between the IT system and the social/ethical concern described in Criterion
A.

The robot would be created on a factory, Using some hardwares or other robots that has been programmed to do some welding and matching. Later, when the layout od the robot is done, People will plant chips or motherboard that will operate the robots. Putting in programs such as what should they do when their masters ask or told them something. After that, The robots would be tested and checked for build quality. If the IT system fail to do what their masters asked, it will receive a consequence and will probably re-programmed. Some people may think that it’s a good idea. These robots would be there whenever you want them and also, would do whatever you ask them without questioning you. But then, What if the movie I robot become real. These robots, the ones that have feeling and brain, would feel that they can rule the world better and start to go against us instead of protecting us. They would use us, the humans to be their “robots” and we would receive consequence. Also, would it be a good thing, loving a robot. Touching metal hands and bugging cold back? Or would it be better to hold a warn, and soft hand. Also, hugging a nice and warm body? Because I think that if this idea would ever be realized, It won’t be a really good idea since now, we’ll starting to love the things we created. Not what God created. Besides, If more and more people starts to like the robots, The population of human being will slowly decreases since you can’t have a baby with a robot right?

Evaluate the impact of the social/ethical issues on the relevant stakeholders.

The relevant stakeholders would be other human being. The ones who you should have loved and missed. There must be people who would be there for you. But, If you start to like and meet with the robots all of the time. You will slowly forget them. The robots would do and love you. But then, They won’t be able to have a deep feeling toward you, like how human being should be when they marry someone. They need to feel love from both sides. Not only from one side. Next, the companies who created these robots. It would create more profit for them but then, there would be possibilities of more and more demonstration toward these companies since they're creating something that will destroy the human’s population and feelings toward each other human being.

4. 8 Marks
Evaluate at least one possible solution that addresses at least one problem identified in Criterion C.

We can just simply don't realize this idea since it seems to be a bad idea. Preventing human being to find their true love and I’m sure that there’re a prefect match for every person on earth. Creating this robot won’t help a lot of people since we human being must find another human and create a family or just simply love each other. It won’t work when you love robots.

a. Describe one social/ethical concern related to the IT system in the article.
b. Describe the relationship of one primary stakeholder to the IT system in the article.

The ethical issue of this article is people and machine. I chose that ethical issue because the professor is talking how it would be like to marry a robot. To marry a robot is something weird itself but if you think all about the technology what they could do to make you happy as a person then i think many people would like to marry those robots. The people could me more happy with a machine than with real person. The primary stakeholder could be the company itself or the robots.

a. Describe, step-by-step, how the IT system works.
b. Explain the relationship between the IT system and the social/ethical concern described in Criterion A

The relationship between the IT and the ethical issue is that each robot needs a technology what is inside these machine. Without the IT it would not work out because how could the robot do something if there is no technology inside it. In this robot there is Hardware inside to remember the things what they should do. These machine have to talk do things and even have interaction with the owner, without IT this could not happend.

Evaluate the impact of the social/ethical issues on the relevant stakeholders.

The relevant stakeholder is the human being. The human being is the one who will take care, love them and miss them. The impact that could happend in this issue is about the living time of the human being. The human being have a limited time to live and the robot have longer term of living. What could the robot do when the partner is passed away. Where do they need to go? there is no way that they could go.

Evaluate at least one possible solution that addresses at least one problem identified in Criterion C.

I dont think that this is some significant thing, because why should we love someone that is not a living thing? This is a machine, how could they express their feeling. The solution for this is to have a lifetime for them and i thing they need something like a feeling detector, for loving the people that they actually are in-love.

a)

Describe one social/ethical concern related to the IT system.

Human and machine, where not only human beings are being helped by these devices but their relationship has gone much further into being more intimate.

Describe the relationship of one primary stakeholder to the IT system.

Human beings are starting to treat robots as human beings as well, including predicting that they could be turned into partners for life who people could have sexual intercourses with. This means that these robots should have the ability to serve them spiritually (comforting when they have problems) and physically (sexual activities).

b)

Describe step by step about how the IT system works

Through the input device (eg. button, switch) the robot will be turned on as this device would connect to the data base present in the machine that is planted in the robot. Within the data base, actions of the robot will be monitored according to the input devices (eg. button, switches, voice). It will then transfer the data to the part of the robot which should be moved for example the feet when the person tell them to walk.

Explain the relationship between the IT system and the social/ethical concern described in Criterion A

With the robot being able to do what human beings are capable of doing, people become more dependent upon these devices. This increases the relationship between human and machines.

c) The impact of social/ethical issues on stakeholders.

Intimate relationship between human and robots can of course cause greater health issues than it has today. Sexual intercourse with these robots would definitely lead to particular health issues referring to hygiene, electrical conductivity, etc. The problem is, by doing the sexual intercourse, we are inserting an electrical device inside the most private part of our body (for girls) or the other way around for boys. It might definitely lead up to people being electrocuted, being heavily ill because of viruses due to lack of hygiene, etc. Another problem would be that this close relationship with machines would impact to a great comfortability to these devices, much more than to human beings. This would then create a greater distance between human beings themselves and a loss in their trust to each other. This would decrease the number of human couples marrying to each other and befriended with one another as there is another alternative who would satisfy them more. However on the other side, these relationships can cause positive increase of income to the companies which produces these kind of robots, however because this is a very serious ethical issue, they would also have to face a lot of contradictions and complains as they would much be blamed as the one responsible for this drastic changes of human beings.

d)

A solution to a problem arising from the article:

I think this particular purpose of robots would be too risky with health especially. Therefore intimate uses it would not be a good idea, however if it is only just for acting as a friend, then it would not be as much dangerous to the human beings. Because from this issue we can see that uses of robots as well as other IT devices like the internet have much been use over the line, therefore there should definitely be strict laws protecting the use of it as well as standards and policies that each users and producers (comapanies) need to follow, which will not only be based on health, but also ethics.

Criterion A

a. Describe one social/ethical concern related to the IT system in the article.

A social/ethical issues related to this article is people and machines. Robots are made to give some interacting features towards human beings. But Robots are just AI made by we humans, thus their features are limited, unlike us who have the abilities to try anything, robots cannot. If humans interact with robot too much they will start to lose their social skills.

b. Describe the relationship of one primary stakeholder to the IT system in the article.

Those who bought the robots will likely to be affected the most. They interact with the robots too much and eventually get isolated, causing those people themselves to lose their social skills, because of interacting with machines too much

Criterion B

a. Describe, step-by-step, how the IT system works.

Robot shells are made from a certain area, probably factory. Then they are brought into a special IT room where IT experts program them to act like wives and husbands. Doing this must insert some sort of special, expensive CPUs and software to embed them properly. Then they are decorated, painted, colored, etc. Finally, are sent to a store, probably IT shops/ conventional needs and sell them into service. A widow or a virgin will mostly buy them to keep those kinds of people company.

b. Explain the relationship between the IT system and the social/ethical concern described in Criterion

Those who are involved in making the robots will be given a huge amount of profits, since making them is not easy and requires a lot of patience. But the primary reason why they are given high salary is because it benefits widowers and virgins greatly. But at the cost of losing their social life, by interacting with robots too much.

Criterion C:

Evaluate the impact of the social/ethical issues on the relevant stakeholders.

Maybe people who needs company are given a lot of benefits for diminishing their loneliness. Such as a widow or a lone wolf who can't seem to find friends, are allowed to communicate with robots instead to help improve their social skills.

But due to the limitation of theses AI, they cannot help improve those people's social life forever, the only way to do that is to go out with real people and interact with them, not to interact with robot forever. Besides, robots are embedded only to a certain degree, they can misunderstood what people might say which may cause 'trouble'

Criterion D:

Evaluate at least one possible solution that addresses at least one problem identified in Criterion C.

It should be fine if people want to interact with robots, but they also must learn to say 'stop' and go out and play with real friends, in that way it can balance between communicating with technologie and playing with real people.
