Criterion A:
a. Describe one social/ethical concern related to the IT system in the article
Globalization & Cultural Diversity is an issue related to this IT system. Iceland citizens overthrow the government and doing crowdsourcing might have been a real success. But the ruling of a government still needs to be someone that is trained and skillful, it not rally like any one that can spawn random ideas and threw it on Skype, saying how the country will rule.
b. Describe the relationship of one primary stakeholder to the IT system in the article.
Mostly the Iceland citizens are the primary stakeholders. They are the one who make the crowdsourcing activity available throughout Iceland.
Criterion B:
a. Describe, step-by-step, how the IT system works.
An Iceland citizens go through any of the social networking website, he/she post a question, codes are modified to make this question ‘important’ to all of the Iceland citizens, when other Iceland citizens go through any of these social networking website, they will see the question, and then they will start posting comments and ideas on how the country will be ruled.
b. Explain the relationship between the IT system and the social/ethical concern described in Criterion A.
Iceland citizen post question on his/her social networking website (Facbook, Twitter, etc) and other people will happen to come across that question and they started to post random things, of all of these people, some other people, not from Iceland, may try to write silly things which is irrelevant to the question.
Criterion C:
a. Evaluate the impact of the social/ethical issues on the relevant stakeholders.
With Iceland citizens posting ideas, they can gather up all of the best ideas and put it into one new government law. Thus forming a new society in Iceland
People may often try to condemn this idea because of lacking information and government skill to rule the country
But it seems that there is barely any disadvantages as in why Iceland want to try posting their ideas into something like this, countries has only been allowed to be ruled by government only, and without the people’s consent. Thus it’s also a new experience for Iceland citizens to try and rule this country through their IT system.
