I don't think video games make people violent because before there was violence and there was no video games so i don't think it matters weather you play video games or not. I do think that video games are bad thought because you sit and don't go outside and play but i don't think they are violent. My brother plays video games and he doesn't steal things.

I think that violent video games don't have such a big influence on a person being violent because, even though a person playing 7 hours of video games is violent, that doesn't mean all the violence came from the video games that he/she played. Some violence might come from environment and people around them.

I don't really think video games can harm you are anyone but it does sometimes influence bad things when they talk sometimes it says bad words which is a really bad influence for little kids. I think that we can play games but just not too often probably an hour a day is ok, its also bad for your eyes. but sometimes I guess because of games it causes little kids to get pretty violent.

Video games should not make people violent, unless ofcourse they get too addicted to it, and copy everything it does, so children under the age of 7 should not play GTA, CSS, COD because they are easily influenced by games. It IS good because it helps with your motoric or movement skills when it comes to playing games that includes fingers fruit ninja or guitar hero would be a good game.

In my opinion, video games do not make you violent. i think it really just depends on how you take it. people who play video games are smart enough to know that stealing things and killing people wont just make you lose a game, you can die and go to jail for it. i dont think violence is caused by video games. i think it is just the nature of people and how they think. because i sometimes play violent video games and i dont steal things or blow things up. i think as long as people know that there are consequences to these actions when you do them in real life, the violence wont affect you.

I don't think video games will influence kids violently unless they would've learned that moves such as shooting and others.

But what do you guys think about these cases where kids are stealing cars and hurting people because they 'saw it in a videogame'?

I don't really think that video games make people violent because I play video games myself. Usually when I am small I play guns with my friends but since I have played video games now I have just tried other video games and play more video games. So I think the theory video games is bad and makes you violence is wrong. I myself when playing violence video games is not getting effected and become more violence.

I don't think playing video games is violence because not all of games are violence such as tetris, minecraft, guitar hero, dance dance revolution, tap - tap revenge, and many more. But also there is a game that are violence, such as smack down, taken, office jerk or office zombie, calling all cars, call of duty, counter strike, and many more. If you want to play video games, make sure you don't play the violence one.

I really agree to the first link that is in this post and I think that video games doesn't really have an effect to our behavior in real life. We might be shooting and killing other people in the game we're playing, but the person that plays it are not always violent. I think it depends on what environment the gamer is and the gamer's personality.

I don't think playing violent video games will also make u violent. Because there is so many violent people in the world that is violent not because playing video games. But I think playing too much video games will also be bad for you, because you will get bad eye sight if you played too long.

I agree that games are good because that will not make you violent in real situations unless you are too emotionally and aggressive in playing the game. Games are good if you don't play it violently.

I don't really think that video games make people violent but some violent games if we get addicted to the game people can be violence. There is many education game that can make people smarter. If people below 10 years old play violent games they can be violent because they still don't understand.

After reading the article I think that games wouldn't effect our behavior but people could learn to do violent from violent games. It depends too our pesonality if we're the person that don't do violent but still like playing violent games maybe they wouldn't do violent and if we're the person that love doing violent and they play violent games they could be a really bad criminal.

Video games can make people violent and sometimes it won't but for example like GTA or Saints Row and COD can sometimes make people violent and make a fool of themselves then go to jail just because of a stupid reason. But some games like Skyrim is violent but teaches you old english word and Fifa teaches you good strategies for sports.

Some video games are violent, however, not all games are violent. There are some games that can build the brain muscles like tetris and sudoku. There are also games that can are violent like Grand theft auto and mortal combat, these games could influence people to be violent. In opinion, games is not equal to violence because not all games are violent.

Depends on what types and genre of the games. For example, there was a case on college students shooting a police officer in the United States due to the influence of the game Grand Theft Auto. Grand Theft Auto is one of the type of games that get you influence in. But some violence games make people more patriotic too. For example, a high school students just graduated, then he said he wants to join the US Marines because he wants to protect the world from danger. We can't say that games makes people violent, it is all on the person. People have different strengths in their brains; imagination, maths, nationalism, and more. Therefore, these games have its own type of effects to each people. But if it links to education and effects on learning, thats a different story. Non-educational games distracts students from studying or doing work. Therefore, in my opinion, it all depends on the person itself, not the games.
